(she/her)
You deserve care, support, and space to heal — I’m here to walk alongside you. Hi, I’m Corinne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I offer compassionate, down-to-earth support for adults navigating life’s tender and challenging seasons. I specialize in the perinatal and postpartum period, including birth trauma and reproductive loss. I also work with grief—whether from the loss of a loved one, relationship, or pet—and support clients through life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem struggles.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share how you’ve been feeling lately and explore what may be contributing to those experiences. This initial meeting is about creating a safe, trusting space where you feel seen and heard. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach—rather than rushing to solutions, I’ll listen closely to your story so we can understand what matters most to you. You’re the expert on your life, and my role is to support and guide you toward what healing and growth look like for you.
My strengths as a provider are inclusive of creating a warm, grounded space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported. I bring a calm, compassionate presence to therapy, especially during life’s most tender or overwhelming moments—like new parenthood, loss, or major transitions. I’m attuned to the emotional nuances of grief, birth trauma, and identity shifts, and I work thoughtfully and collaboratively to help clients explore what healing and mental wellness mean for them. Rather than offering quick fixes, I take the time to truly understand your experience and guide you at a pace that feels right, honoring your inner wisdom every step of the way.
I work with adults navigating tender seasons of life—whether adjusting to new parenthood, grieving a loss, or moving through major life transitions. Many of my clients are processing birth trauma, reproductive loss, or the emotional ups and downs of the perinatal period. Others are coping with anxiety, depression, or struggling with self-worth as they face changes in identity or purpose. My clients are thoughtful, motivated, and seeking meaningful support as they work toward greater mental wellness and self-understanding.
I have over three years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In our work together, I’ll help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, learn how they affect your mood or anxiety, and practice real-life tools to challenge and shift those patterns. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just unsure how to move forward, CBT gives us a structured yet flexible way to break things down and work through them. I often incorporate strategies like thought tracking, reframing, and opportunities to explore small changes in how you react to certain thoughts or situations. I will always go at your pace and tailor these strategies towards your goals.
I also use psychodynamic therapy, which helps explore how past experiences, especially early relationships, might influence how you feel and relate to others today. For the past three years, I’ve helped clients unpack those deeper emotional layers so they can understand themselves more fully and stop feeling stuck in old patterns. Sometimes this means noticing emotional themes that keep repeating, understanding why certain situations hit harder than others, or giving space to thoughts and feelings you might usually push aside. It’s not about overanalyzing, but about creating space for clarity, healing, and self-compassion.
I take a culturally sensitive approach to therapy, meaning I actively consider and respect the unique values, identities, and lived experiences each client brings to the room. With four years of experience in culturally responsive care, I make sure that goals, strategies, and interventions are tailored in ways that align with what's meaningful to you — including your cultural background, community, and worldview. I believe therapy works best when it honors the whole person. Whether that means exploring how culture, family, or identity impact your experience, or simply making space to feel understood without explanation, I aim to create a space that feels both respectful and affirming.
I often incorporate psychoeducation into my work — offering clear, compassionate information to help you better understand what’s happening emotionally, mentally, and physically. With four years of experience using this approach, I’ve found that when clients learn about things like the mind-body connection, stress responses, or how certain symptoms show up, it can be incredibly normalizing and empowering. My goal is to help you feel more equipped and less alone in what you're experiencing. When we understand why something is happening, we’re often in a better position to treat it with the right tools, rather than blame ourselves or feel stuck.
Grief looks different for everyone — it’s not something you “get over,” but something you learn to live with, at your own pace. In our work together, I offer a space where you can explore your loss without pressure or judgment. Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a major life shift, I’ll support you in honoring what you’ve lost while helping you reconnect with what still matters. I approach grief therapy with deep compassion, using a combination of talk therapy, emotion-focused work, and supportive coping tools to help you process what you’re feeling. Together, we’ll find ways to carry your grief while also making room for healing, meaning, and even moments of peace.
