I am Paula George, a Family Nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I am currently licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. I earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Felician University, NJ, with high honors (magna cum laude). I completed my Master of Science degree from Rutgers University School of Health-Related Professions in Newark, NJ, and post-certification in Psychiatry from Wilkes University, Pennsylvania. I am board certified and leverage my combined experience to give outpatient psychiatric care to clients with mental health conditions including (anxiety/depressive disorders, mood disorders, cognitive disorders, eating disorders, etc.) My professional experience enables me to provide holistic, empathetic, and respectful psychiatric care that prioritizes your needs. It is my desire to help you overcome your mental health issues to return to optimal functioning.
In our first session, we will start with a brief introduction , then delve into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help us creat a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.
I love working with clients from the adolescent stages to adulthood who find it difficult to maintain a balance and who are going through mental stressors that interfere with daily functioning.
