Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSWC-C) based in Maryland. I help adolescents and adults struggling with their mental health. I graduated from Salisbury University’s Advanced Standing Program with my Master’s degree in Social Work, and have been practicing for over 9 years. During my time at SU, I was a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My theoretical perspective includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strength’s Perspective.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, answer questions, and review expectations for therapy, as well as begin to build trust and rapport. We can dive into the specific challenges you're facing, which will help us create specific goals to work towards in follow-up sessions.
My greatest strength is being able to provide a safe space to discuss problems. I'm a very caring and empathetic person which allows for our sessions to be a no judgment zone.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. In addition, I work with individuals and families to determine their needs and connect them with community resources.
