I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, and infectious disease. I received my Doctorate from Rutgers University NJ and have been practicing for 5 years. I help individuals who are going through a tough time, struggling with life stress and burnout become the best versions of themselves. Our services included psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and psychiatric evaluation, and then dive into the specific challenges the individual is facing. This will help create a tailored plan for both the client and me to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals for the past 5 years, I have helped my clients improve their self-esteem, better coping skills, and reduced anxiety and depression as well as identify the root cause of their challenges and develop a plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Medication and therapy for individuals with depression, anxiety, stress management, bipolar, mood disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss, and social and emotional issues. We do couple and family therapy

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We help our clients manage their problems by changing how they think and behave. This is accomplished through the use of psychotherapy that combines cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We help individuals and their families focus on the improvement of relationships and behaviors among families

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

We understand the importance of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, and other important elements that makeup someone's culture and/or identity. Therefore, we incorporate each individual’s background and belief system into the psychotherapy

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

Helping the individual and families accept reality and acknowledge the loss
