Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session my main objective is to get to know you and understand what brings you in for support. I ask open ended questions to build rapport, gather relevant background information/ history, and identify treatment goals to address and explore in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Based upon 15 years of experience I am able to form strong alliances with my clients that helps empower them to explore problems and make necessary changes, all while feeling supported and understood. I provide open and nonjudgmental space for clients to be themself and embrace their strengths.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with transition aged youth who are managing life stage changes and navigating adjustments such as starting careers, relationships, college or new professions. I love working with individuals who are open to change and willing to explore and learn new ways of coping and balancing life.

Thanks for our session! I wanted to clarify what I'm hoping for - direct, challenging feedback rather than empathetic validation. My previous therapist was supportive, but I left without new insights. Please question my assumptions, point out contradictions, and probe deeper. If something doesn't add up, call it out - I prefer directness. My goal is to leave with uncomfortable questions and concrete insights about why I do what I do.
