I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner PMHNP-BC based in New Jersey. I received my Master's Degree from Walden University and have been practicing for 4 years but I have 30 years of experience in the medical field. I help all age groups with improving their mental health, with the ability to prescribe when needed. My specialty is medication management, but I have a broad knowledge base in mental health and holistic care.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then discuss the challenges that you have been facing. Then we will create a plan to work through in follow-up sessions.

Marlena is my first psychiatrist, and I was very nervous about starting medication. She immediately put me at ease with her warm, genuine, and compassionate personality. Marlena let me lead this 1st session. She did not try to fit me into her agenda. I appreciated that she heard me as she used my examples in her feedback. Not at all perfunctory.
