(she/her)
With over 20 years of psychiatric experience, I specialize in helping individuals overcome the challenges of OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I combine deep clinical expertise with a compassionate, practical approach—my goal is always to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered to make a real, lasting change. For those struggling with OCD, I use evidence-based strategies and medication management to help you face fears head-on and break free from obsessive cycles. With ADHD, I go beyond diagnosis—helping you build structure, boost focus, and learn how your brain works best so you can thrive at home, at work, or in school. I believe therapy should be a partnership. Patients often tell me they feel safe, challenged, and supported in our work together. I meet you where you are—with honesty, empathy, and tools that work. If you’re ready to take control of your mental health, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence. If current availability does not meet your scheduling needs, please contact me and I will do my best to offer additional appointment options.
In our first session together, my goal is to really get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story. We’ll start with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, where we explore your current concerns, your mental health history, medical background, family history, and the bio-psychosocial factors that have shaped your life. I want to understand what’s been going on from all angles so we can create a full, accurate picture. We'll also talk about things like sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress levels, and daily habits, because your mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum. I’ll ask about any medications you’re currently taking and discuss what’s worked—or hasn’t worked—for you in the past. By the end of the session, we’ll start crafting a personalized treatment plan together. This may include therapy approaches (like CBT or mindfulness), lifestyle adjustments, and, if appropriate, a discussion about medication. My approach is collaborative—you’ll have a say in every step of your care. Above all, I want you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful. This is a safe space where we can start making sense of what’s going on—and begin building a path toward feeling better. ________________________________________ Taking the first step toward getting help can be one of the hardest parts, and I want you to know you’re not alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with focus and motivation, or just tired of feeling stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and support. In our work together, we’ll get to the root of what’s going on and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you—your needs, your goals, your life. You deserve a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to create real change. Ready to get started? Book your first appointment, or reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and walking with you on this journey.
What truly sets my approach apart is how deeply I connect with every client I meet. With over 20 years of psychiatric experience, I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges—yet one thing remains constant: we always find a way forward together. Clients often tell me that I’m easy to talk to, that they feel safe, understood, and never judged. I bring clinical expertise, but also warmth, empathy, and a practical mindset. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, or depression, I take the time to truly understand your story—so we can create a personalized treatment plan that works for you. My method is thorough and collaborative. I use evidence-based strategies, integrate therapy with lifestyle support, and focus not just on managing symptoms but improving your overall quality of life. My clients leave sessions with tools they can use, insights that make sense, and a growing sense of confidence in themselves. If you’re looking for someone who will listen closely, think clearly, and work with you every step of the way—I’d be honored to help. Let’s get started.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is particularly effective for anxiety, and I often guide clients through identifying unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to worry or fear. For example, if a client feels intense anxiety before a social event, we might explore the automatic thought—such as “I’ll embarrass myself” or “Everyone will judge me.” Together, we challenge the accuracy of that belief and reframe it into something more balanced, like “It’s okay to feel nervous, and I can still connect with others.” From there, we practice small behavioral changes—like staying at the event for a short time or engaging in one conversation—to build confidence and reduce avoidance over time. My goal is to help clients develop practical tools they can use in daily life, empowering them to face challenges with greater clarity and resilience.

I am so glad to have met Lana, she was able to not only give me a deep understanding of what I am dealing with, but also gave me insight on a treatment plan too. She is also very warm, and empowering

I am so fortunate I took a chance on Lana Ignatov. She listens, has a lot of experience that helps her find solutions that work for you. She also is available if there is an issue. I truly cannot say enough about how lucky I feel to have found her and how much she has helped me in the past three months. I have grown so much with her help. I would recommend Lana Ignatov to anyone; she is truly fantastic.
