I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adolescents and adults create meaningful, lasting change.

If you are ready to take control of your journey and work with me to develop long-term solutions, schedule an appointment with me today.

Through a combination of therapy and medication management, I work collaboratively with clients to navigate anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, and life's challenges while building greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding. My goal is to help clients develop the skills to move toward what matters most to them, even when difficult thoughts, emotions, or uncertainty are present.

First session

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you as a person, not just your symptoms. We'll discuss what brings you to treatment, the challenges you're facing, what you've tried in the past, and what you hope to achieve moving forward. Together, we'll explore important aspects of your life, including relationships, work or school, personal strengths, values, and any factors that may be contributing to your current struggles. If appropriate, we'll also review your mental health history and discuss whether medication may be a helpful part of your treatment plan. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. You can expect a judgment free environment where we work together to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and begin identifying practical steps toward meaningful change. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of my approach and a plan for moving forward that aligns with your goals and values.

Strengths

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while translating insight into meaningful action. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My approach combines evidence-based therapy techniques with practical, real world strategies that clients can apply outside of sessions. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I help clients develop the skills needed to manage anxiety, self-doubt, ADHD-related challenges, and life stressors in a sustainable way. I believe meaningful progress comes not from eliminating discomfort altogether, but from learning how to respond to it more effectively. I am particularly skilled at helping clients identify their core values, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build self-confidence, and make decisions that align with the life they want to live. Clients often tell me they appreciate my collaborative style, practical feedback, and ability to balance validation with accountability. As a psychiatric provider offering both therapy and medication management, I am able to take a comprehensive approach to treatment. This allows us to address both the psychological and biological factors that may be contributing to a client's difficulties while tailoring care to their unique goals and needs. My ultimate goal is to help clients build resilience, increase psychological flexibility, and develop the confidence to move forward even when anxiety, uncertainty, or self-doubt are present.

Ideal clients

I work best with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and difficulty trusting themselves. Many of my clients are intelligent, capable individuals who feel held back by overthinking, fear of failure, difficulty focusing, or a harsh inner critic. My approach is not focused on eliminating anxiety altogether. Instead, I help clients develop a healthier relationship with anxiety and self-doubt so these experiences no longer control their decisions, relationships, or goals. Together, we build practical skills to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, increase confidence, improve focus, and create meaningful change. A core part of my work involves helping clients identify their personal values and use those values as a guide for decision-making and growth. Whether someone is navigating life transitions, academic or career stress, relationship challenges, ADHD-related difficulties, or a loss of direction, I strive to help them build a life that feels authentic and aligned with what matters most to them. As a psychiatric provider, I offer both therapy and medication management, allowing for a comprehensive and individualized treatment approach. When medication is appropriate, it is thoughtfully integrated into a broader plan focused on long-term growth, resilience, and improved quality of life. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, challenge limiting beliefs, strengthen self-confidence, and learn how to move forward even when anxiety, uncertainty, or self-doubt are present.

Ryan has a great way about him and clearly wants to help his patients get to a better place emotionally. He let me talk and get things off my chest and offered ways to communicate with my son. He is relatable and easy to connect with. I highly recommend him.
