About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or struggling to navigate a difficult life transition? Perhaps you are coping with grief, relationship challenges, past trauma, or finding it difficult to manage the stress of everyday life. Therapy can provide a safe space to slow down, gain clarity, and better understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. As a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is warm, collaborative, and attachment-informed, focusing on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to develop healthier coping strategies and move toward the life you want to create.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will focus on getting to know one another and developing a clear understanding of what brought you to therapy. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable space where you feel safe sharing the challenges you are experiencing, as well as the goals and changes you hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will explore your needs, strengths, and concerns while beginning to build a therapeutic connection rooted in trust and collaboration. From there, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that feels meaningful, supportive, and aligned with your personal goals and comfort level.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is attachment-informed, relational, and emotionally focused, with an emphasis on helping clients understand how early life experiences shape current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to increase emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and develop healthier patterns rooted in emotional safety, accountability, and self-understanding. My style integrates psychoeducation, insight-oriented exploration, and practical interventions to help individuals, couples, and families navigate conflict, anxiety, grief, identity, and relational challenges. I specialize in working with relationship dynamics, attachment wounds, family systems, parenting stressors, emotional regulation, and intimacy concerns, particularly within couples and transitional-age youth/family work. Clients often describe my approach as warm, structured, reflective, and supportive while also encouraging growth, responsibility, and meaningful behavioral change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults. My clients want to move forward in life but do not have the tools; they understand that a professional will be able to guide them through their journey for a better self.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I have been using a trauma Informed approach because focuses on safety, compassion, and support to help clients make long-lasting changes. Together, we will review or discover the type of coping skills you have used, past trauma(s), and together we work towards developing healthy new strategies, rather than solely addressing presenting behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have utilized Solution Focused treatment because I believe that every person has strengths that many times have not been discovered. This approach identifies and builds on the client's strengths; rather than focusing on the problem, together we will view at your future and figuring it out what you need to work on to be successful.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've used CBT in my practice. Many times we become overwhelmed by recurrent negative thoughts that impact how we think and feel. In my practice, I use CBT to understand how you view yourself and the world and the impact it has on your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Together, we will work on developing healthier ways of thinking.
