I was drawn to becoming a therapist because of my fascination with human behavior and how our brains work and how to help people live more authentic and full lives. I understand it can be scary to ask for help. Sometimes we feel we have the answers and that it is "weak" to reach out. It takes strength to admit you need help instead of bottling up your pain. I invite you to take this step.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session I will ask you questions to get to know you better and to have an understanding of what you would like out of therapy. I aim to not make sessions too "clinical" and for them to involve humor, vulnerability, and connection.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I help clients reach their goals by first establishing what you would like to work on in therapy. I will keep your goals in mind as I create a treatment plan. We will collaborate and team up to reach your goals. I will check in regularly with you about your progress. I also will talk about practical ways you can implement what we talk about in therapy into your everyday life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in anxiety, grief, life transitions, gender/sexuality, and relationship counseling. I believe that healing happens when we feel supported and cared for. My goal is to come alongside you in your healing and to help you find ways to foster growth within yourself while also helping you find a supportive community.
