Michael Gonzales
Hi, I’m Michael! Initiating therapy is not something any of us imagine to do. But life happens, circumstances happen. The fact that you are here, already shows you are ready to change whatever situation you find yourself in. Therapy should be insightful, engaging, motivating, and even fun! One thing I truly believe in is the power of mindset. Like anything else, no matter how uphill, bleak, or challenging something is… if you want to get through it, you can. We are not defined by our struggle but by our ability to respond to that struggle. I incorporate motivation, psycho-education, evidence-based practices, and humor into my sessions in a safe, non-judgmental, and relaxed atmosphere.
As much as we like to speak on our education, certifications, and licenses, none of that matters if the person you are talking to and trusting in can’t meet you where you are at.
There is nothing too small or too big that can’t be fixed, managed, or corrected. If you are willing to start that change, to take back your life, I will always meet you halfway to guide you, support you, and empower you. Let’s work together and bring peace back into your life!
First session
In our first session, we will start with brief introduction. We will then discuss your current challenges, struggles, along with your goals and expectations. Most importantly, you can expect to be heard, respected, and provided honest feedback.
Strengths
As a therapist, it’s most important to be able to connect with our clients on a human level. With that said, my biggest strength is being personable, sincere, and genuine. As much as we like to speak on our education, certifications, and licenses, none of that matters if the person you are talking to and trusting in can’t meet you where you are at.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve Youth ages 10-17. Adults ages 18-55.
