I am a client-centered therapist committed to the education of and raising awareness towards good mental health in this now fast paced, high pressured, social media driven environment we live in. Within my over 15 years of experience, I have treated a wide spectrum of mental health issues and diagnoses that range from relationships and life transitions, to complex behavioral and mental disorders. My goal is to help you learn the skills necessary to manage the stressors in your life so you can handle whatever comes your way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session we will get to know each other and I would love to answer any questions you have about the therapy process. I will gather information about your background so together we can identify your goals for our therapy sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My goal is to help you feel relaxed, to give you a safe space to share the issues you may not usually feel comfortable talking about.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love to work with teens and adults of all ages. I want to help people identify what's bothering them and discover solutions to make positive changes in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for over 15 years to help people identify unhelpful thoughts, learn to challenge the negative thoughts, and eventually replace them with more helpful and realistic thinking processes.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have used TF-CBT to address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families suffering from the effects of trauma. The treatment is beneficial for those with post-traumatic stress and mood disorders resulting from all types of abuse, witnessing violence, or grief.

Grief Therapy

I work often with people experiencing grief and help you through the various stages and ranges of emotions felt after a loss.

Psychodynamic

This is helpful to understand your past experiences and identify how they affect your current thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
