Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from University of Southern California (USC) and have been practicing for 8 years. I provide a compassionate space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and work collaboratively to develop personalized strategies for achieving mental wellness. Through an empathetic approach and expertise in evidence-based therapies, I empower clients to achieve their full potential, build resilience, and cultivate a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will start with an introduction, continued by learning about your specific needs, goals, and challenges in order to develop a therapeutic plan to better achieve our goals throughout therapy. This is where we will begin to build a collaborative relationship, establishing a foundation for our work together and setting the stage for a positive and transformative therapeutic journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In my 8 years as a therapist, I have learned the importance of the therapeutic alliance, and focusing on the specific needs of each individual in order to fosters lasting growth, healing, and self-awareness.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I'm here to support individuals who are navigating life's challenges, whether it's managing anxiety or depression, coping with trauma, or simply seeking personal growth and self-improvement. If you're ready to take the first step towards healing, and growth, I invite you to book a therapy session with me!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a cornerstone for helping clients address a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and stress. CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that is based on the understanding that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. I have had extensive experience applying CBT in my practice with clients of diverse backgrounds and presenting issues. Over time, I’ve seen how powerful and effective CBT can be in promoting lasting change. I've witnessed clients gain greater insight into their thought patterns and develop the tools they need to challenge and transform those thoughts.

Family Therapy

As a mental health therapist, I understand that individuals are often part of a larger family system. Family dynamics can significantly impact a person's mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. That's why I incorporate family therapy into my practice. By working together, we can build stronger, more resilient families and improve overall well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

I incorporate Motivational Interviewing (MI) into my practice to help clients resolve ambivalence and mobilize their intrinsic motivation to change. MI is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that empowers clients to explore and resolve conflicting desires, values, and goals. Through MI, I help clients strengthen their commitment to making positive changes, overcoming obstacles, and achieving their mental health and wellness goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) into my practice to help clients identify and build on their strengths, resources, and resilience. SFBT is a goal-oriented approach that focuses on exploring solutions. Together, we'll work to identify and amplify your existing coping skills, develop a clear vision for your desired future, and take concrete steps towards achieving your mental health and wellness goals.

Strength-Based

I incorporate Strength-Based Therapy into my practice to empower clients to recognize and utilize their existing strengths, skills, and resources to overcome challenges. This approach focuses on amplifying your positive qualities, coping mechanisms, and resilience to promote personal growth, self-efficacy, and mental wellness. By building on your strengths, we'll work together to develop strategies to manage difficulties, achieve your goals, and enhance your overall well-being.
