Hello! My name is Jane Dustman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of New Jersey. I received my Master’s degree from Monmouth University and have been practicing in the field since 2016. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental and collaborative effort to help support ones journey towards managing their growing edges.
During our first session, you can expect introduction and rapport building to help get to know one another, assessment and exploration to gather information about ones background, history and areas one would like to focus in on, in order to help create treatment plan goals.
My key strengths as a provider is the ability to show up, support and nurture all my client’s that are ready to navigate their challenges. I provide a warm, empathetic space allowing for client’s to reflect on their thoughts and feelings, showing adaptability, engage in active listening, provide effective communication and help dive into structured problem solving, meeting a client where they are at and helping promote, support and motivate them towards their goals.
I am well-equipped to support individuals who are experiencing anxiety and related issues. Whether one is dealing with situational anxiety, stress with work, nerves due to interpersonal relationships, or attempts trying to navigate life stressors, my therapeutic practice focuses in on providing a safe, understanding an structured environment where client’s can explore their anxiety, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards achieving a a sense of calm and control in their lives.

I have over 8 years of experiencing working with CBT as a modality to help individuals challenge negative thoughts, that create negative feelings and behaviors. With cognitive challenging, reframing and refocusing, we work together on creating positive thoughts and feelings which result in ideal behaviors.

I am a Humanistic therapist, which means I am client centered and I focus in on creating a non-judgmental, empathetic and therapeutic environment. I support my client’s self-growth and fulfillment by empowering and supporting them through the process.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I find it important to use Mindfulness-Based Therapy by integrating mindfulness practices into sessions to help reduce stress, enhance self-awareness, remain in the present and help improve emotion regulation.
Psychoeducation
Providing client’s with information and knowledge on psychological concepts, conditions and coping strategies to help understand and how to manage one’s areas to address more effectively.
Strength-Based
By focusing on identifying a client’s current strengths, resources and positive qualities, this concept helps foster growth and resolves issues. This helps build a client’s confidence and helps recognizes ones own capacity for growth.
