LCSW, 20 years of experience
New to Grow
Welcome to my therapy room, a warm, non-judgmental space where we’ll uncover your inner wisdom together. As a therapist, I bring a person-centered, solution-focused approach, believing the answers you seek are already within you, waiting to be illuminated with a gentle flashlight. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a Polish refugee from the 1980s, I’ve navigated trauma and resilience, which informs my empathic practice in my 40s.
I tailor our work to your unique needs, listening deeply as an introvert and guiding you with straightforward care, diving into the heart of healing without lingering on small talk.
My experience has included a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, working with refugees, being a medical social worker and working with adolescents and couples.
With 20+ years as an LCSW, I specialize in trauma, identity, relationships, and adult autism diagnosis. I offer person-centered, solution-focused therapy, including CBT, somatic practices, and Gottman tools for couples.
I use a variety of different methods depending on the situation. These may include CBT, Somatic, Motivational Interviewing, Compassionate Inquiry, SFBT and Person Centered.
