(he/they)
I bring both professional training and lived understanding to my work with transgender, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ clients. I offer care that is gender-affirming, trauma-informed, and aligned with current standards of practice. I strive to create a space where you do not have to explain or defend who you are in order to be taken seriously. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and attentiveness. My work is collaborative, meaning we explore what feels most pressing and meaningful to you, while I offer guidance, support, and insight as you navigate your experiences. I believe therapy is about understanding yourself more deeply, building self-trust, and creating a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values. My goal is to provide a space where growth, reflection, and practical support can happen naturally and at a pace that feels right for you.
Your first session with me is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other and to start building a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for, whether that’s clarity, relief, growth, or change in a specific area of your life. I may ask about your history, relationships, identity, and current stressors, but you are always in control of what you share and when. First sessions can sometimes feel a little awkward because building trust and a sense of safety takes time, and I move at a pace that respects that. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in. We start wherever you are, and we build from there together.
My work is grounded in clarity, compassion, and collaboration. One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to help people understand themselves in a way that feels both validating and empowering. I bring a thoughtful approach to therapy while remaining deeply attuned to each client’s individual needs. I work with you as a partner in your process so that insight can translate into meaningful movement in your life. My goal is not just symptom relief, but growth: building self-trust, emotional clarity, and the confidence to live in alignment with your values. Therapy with me is collaborative, purposeful, and centered on helping you move forward in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
My ideal clients are people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to engage in meaningful personal growth. You may be navigating questions of identity, relationships, anxiety, burnout, or life transitions, and you want lasting change. I am especially well-suited for transgender, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ individuals who are seeking affirming, competent care in a space where they do not have to educate their therapist about who they are. You may be exploring gender, sexuality, or authenticity, or working through experiences of stress, trauma, or feeling out of alignment with your life. You might come to therapy because you feel stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by your thoughts, or disconnected from your sense of purpose. My ideal clients are curious about themselves, open to reflection, and willing to practice new ways of thinking and behaving outside of sessions. If you are looking for a collaborative therapeutic relationship that is casual, grounded, respectful, and focused on both emotional insight and practical change you are likely a good fit for my approach.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Together, we look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck, such as negative self-talk, avoidance, or habits that increase stress. I’ll help you gently question unhelpful thoughts, practice more balanced ways of thinking, and try new behaviors that support your goals.
