Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first meeting, my focus is to have you experience a secure and safe attachment with me as you share your desired goals for therapy. Together, we will build a plan that will include specific interventions to help you experience life with less rigidity/ chaos and more flexibility. I will teach you about the wonderful capacity of your mind and how it can facilitate emotional stability and well being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer my passion, training and experience in working with neurodivergent children and adults. I love to provide parent support to parents and parenting skills to help the developing mind. I also off my relational lens in working with couples who are trying to find their way back to each other after a disconnect.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked over the years with many age groups. I have a special place in my heart for anyone seeking to better understand their relationship within and between themselves and the world. I use a mind sight lens of Interpersonal Neurobiology to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, compulsive thinking, attention challenges, parenting and other life challenges that can cause to one to feel either suck or overwhelmed.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Becoming aware of your patterns of attention/focus is the first step to know you can shift your awareness to be in a more flexible, adaptable, responsive state for all of what life brings. I will teach you how your mind, brain and body work together through the integration of mental activities (cognitive thoughts, feelings), body awareness and your relationship to others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help you learn and utilize skills in problems solving, and decision making thereby making healthy choice options which will enhance your quality of life.
