Fidelia Asante-Ansong
Hello! I am Fidelia, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. I received my Masters from Walden University. I help clients struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, and bipolar.
As a RN and PMHNP, I have extensive experience in the ER, integrated care and case management, pharmaceuticals, and mental health nursing across lifespan.
I am passionate about healthcare and mental health is dear to my heart due to first hand experience. I will be honored to take this journey with you. Currently I hold DEA in only TX. Only prescribing control substances locally (Houston Tx) with office visit if meet criteria.

I am part of my clients' support system. My goal is to help clients become the best versions of themselves. My clients are always deserving of the best treatment options when it comes to mental health, and we will find the right combination of medication and care management to achieve that goal!
Strengths

I believe that active listening, a dedicated support system, and client's involvement in their treatment options, collectively, achieve success.
Ideal clients
I love working with children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and the geriatric population. Healthcare is my passion and working alongside these groups of people to manage their mental health is dear to my heart.

I utilize a supportive treatment approach for my patients, and it has proven to be very effective. It has always been very important for me to embrace and include family members, loved ones, friends, co-workers amongst others in patient treatment plans. In all my years of practice in the healthcare industry, I have been a supportive voice for my patients, thereby building trusting relationships, discussing treatment options and walking this journey together.
