Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I've been using ACT in my therapy for the past several years. I like the premise to have a rich, full, meaningful life, one must acknowledge that there will be some challenging days. That is part of life! You learn to accept emotions and difficult thoughts as processes rather than identity. Using mindfulness, you will create space for thoughts, emotions and memories to exist without blocking you. You figure out what is most important to you (your values) and how to leverage that energy to help you accomplish goals.
