PMHNP, 8 years of experience
I am Nola Adeyeye, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with almost a decade of experience in mental health care. My mission is to support individuals in overcoming challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. I believe in the power of understanding and compassion, and I approach each client as a unique individual with their own story and needs.
In our first session together, my main focus is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel safe sharing what’s on your mind. We’ll take some time to get to know each other, and I’ll ask about your mental health history, what you’re currently dealing with, and what your goals are for treatment. I’m also interested in understanding how things like your medical background, family history, or other life factors may be affecting you. We’ll talk about any past treatments or medications you’ve tried and how they’ve worked for you. This session is really about hearing your story and understanding your experiences, so feel free to share as much as you’re comfortable with. I’m here to listen and answer any questions you have about how I can help. By the end of our session, we’ll start to put together a plan tailored to you. This could include options for medication, therapy, or even changes to your daily routine. We’ll make these decisions together, and I’ll always be here to guide and support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and confident about the steps we’re going to take next.
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my compassionate and empathetic approach, combined with a commitment to evidence-based care. I stay current with the latest advancements in mental health and medication management, and I’m skilled at tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs. Whether it’s finding the right medication regimen or integrating supportive therapy techniques, I focus on what works best for each person. My dedication to shared decision-making means clients can expect a partnership where their voice is heard and valued.
My clients benefit from a holistic, client-centered approach to mental health care, emphasizing medication management combined with evidence-based supportive therapy. My focus is on clients with psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, Trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and other mood and behavioral conditions.
