I’m a seasoned therapist wanting to help clients develop a deeper relationship with themselves using a mind-body approach. My goal is to provide a safe space in which clients can learn to understand themselves and their internal process in order to identify the changes they want to make in their lives. Together we can explore the obstacles and challenges they are experiencing and help them identify a path forward. What is crucial to this work is helping clients identify and tolerate their emotions, process them, and gain an understanding of their experience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the initial sessions I will work to gather the history that has shaped the client and help them articulate their goals. Together we will explore how we can best proceed.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I’m a seasoned therapist and a good listener who can provide clear reflections to help the client articulate their experience and their needs.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am looking forward to working with clients who want to grow and learn about themselves. I see my role as accompanying clients through life’s transitions as well as helping those who feel stuck, and are struggling to make changes in their life. Sometimes life hits us with more than we can cope with and I hope to help them develop skills to keep moving forward. I hope to create a safe, strong connection which allows the client to accomplish the goals they are seeking.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

My education and training is based in humanistic psychology. My goal is to meet people where they are and to foster their growth.

Mind-body approach

I have extensive training in Somatic therapy. I believe that therapy works best when clients are present in their body. I use a mindful-based practice to assist clients in learning to focus and ground themselves in their connection to themselves.
