Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first sessions we will have brief introductions and an intake. I will be asking questions to learn about your challenges you are experiencing. This will provide a plan for our future sessions together. I will be curious about you and how you would like to lower any negative symptoms and create a happier life for yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have experience with several hospitals and treatment facilities in California and Arizona such as; Outpatient and IOP facilities for mental health disorders, treatment centers for military veterans, and environments that provided mental health services. Working in all of these different environments and with hundreds of clients has provided me the ability to learn about mental health solutions and interventions. I would describe my therapeutic style as curious, creative and knowledgeable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals who are discontent, unhappy and struggling in their life and they want to make changes and grow. Individuals who want to "rewrite their story" and would like to challenge themselves are individuals I have had the honor to work with. This may be treated with therapy modalities such as uncovering your fears, shadow work, discovering your attachment style (anxious, dismissive, etc) inner child work to name a few modalities.

My treatment methods

Narrative

Narrative therapy, is a powerful psychotherapeutic approach that empowers clients to explore and reshape their life stories, particularly those overwhelmed by challenges and emotional distress. During sessions, clients engage in open dialogues with their therapists, delving into their narratives and actively challenging the ones that contribute to their struggles. By separating problems from personal identity, narrative therapy emphasizes the belief that individuals are the ultimate authorities in their own lives. Through this collaborative process, clients gain a deep understanding of their values and skills, enabling them to effectively confront present and future issues and pave the way for transformative change.

Relational

Relational therapy is founded on the concept of relationships with others being an essential aspect of emotional well-being. Individuals who find it difficult to maintain supportive and healthy relationships may experience a sense of disconnection in addition to feelings of diminished self-worth and general distress, and their sense of emotional well-being may negatively affected. Relational therapy may be beneficial for those who find emotional regulation challenging, and it has also been shown to be helpful in the treatment of relational difficulties experienced with anxiety, stress, or depression.
