Welcome! I'm Lisa. First, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards working on improving your mental health. I know starting therapy can be scary and empowering at the same time. During sessions, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to their mental health including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, parenting challenges and everyday stressors. I focus on helping clients develop new strategies and boundaries in order to help improve their quality of life. I treat each client as an individual as there is no "cookie cutter" way of managing each individual's stressors and challenge. Counseling can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share.

I hold a deep respect for each person's unique story. I am passionate about supporting people in finding greater connections with themselves and those around them, and in being more present in their daily lives. Together we can craft an approach to counseling that works for you. I am a bilingual/bi-cultural therapist; able to do therapy in both English/Spanish. I am sensitive to inter-generational conflicts that arise due to acculturation issues. Therapy provides an opportunity to wonder about experiences, emotions, and desires that we may not otherwise have space to explore. This process can deepen our insight into the impact of personal history on our current behavioral and emotional patterns, allowing us a greater sense of self and choice in our lives and relationships. In the course of psychotherapy, we will create a space of non-judgmental curiosity, including space for creativity, playfulness, and humor. I help my patients develop and strengthen their ability to manage anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges so that they can live a more meaningful, mindful, and enjoyable life. I encourage my patients to work hard to grow and change, achieving the life they desire. I seek to develop a caring and supportive relationship with all my patients. You are a unique human being. There is no "one size fits all" therapy. Let's talk and see if I am the right fit to help you reach the goals you want for yourself. Together we will work to deepen self-awareness, presence, and sense of possibility. I use she/her pronouns. *** Please note that I am only able to schedule appointments on the hour (i.e. 3:00), and cannot accommodate appointments on the half hour (i.e. 3:30). Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve the scheduling platform. ***

I help women, individuals, and families through out the life span. I support women primarily through the seasons of motherhood and the quiet, complicated transitions that come with them. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, kids growing up, or the emotional weight of divorce and life changes, you deserve a space that feels steady, warm, and judgment‑free. My approach blends CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you slow your nervous system, understand your patterns, and build tools that bring relief and clarity. Sessions are gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that women carry so much—and shouldn’t have to carry it alone. I specialize in: • Maternal mental health and postpartum transitions • divorce and co-parenting stressors (has your's been labeled high conflict? does every single conversation feel like a fight? Do you often feel anxiety every time the phone dings?) • abuse • Anxiety and overwhelm • Depression and burnout • Caregiver stress and dementia support • Parenting and co‑parenting challenges • Life transitions and identity shifts • discernment therapy Clients describe me as calm, intuitive, and easy to talk to. I offer teletherapy statewide, creating a space where you can breathe, reflect, and rebuild your sense of stability and calm.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support. Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them. My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. " "The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr. "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou "The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran "Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare "How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." I work with women who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, or disconnected from their sense of self. Many of the women I support struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, feeling responsible for everyone else’s needs while neglecting their own, and navigating challenges related to relationships, intimacy, and sexual health. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, gain clarity, and understand the patterns that keep showing up in your life. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your sense of self, improve communication and boundaries, and develop coping strategies that support long-term emotional well-being—not just short-term relief. If you’re looking for support that goes beyond symptom management and helps you create meaningful, lasting change, you don’t have to do that work alone.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
