I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation (LISW-S) in Ohio and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. I earned my Master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed a Certificate in Sexual Health at the University of Michigan. I am currently pursuing an advanced Certificate in Problem Sexual Behavior. With 30 years of clinical experience, I bring a depth of knowledge and compassion to my practice. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Holistic Coaching. I also utilize Affirmative Psychotherapy, meeting clients where they are and supporting growth at their own pace. I am a Mental Health and Addiction therapist licensed in Ohio , Michigan and South Carolina with over 15 years of experience . I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, self harm and family counseling. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked with adolescents, those in addiction, and adults. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in humor in treatment as well. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectal behavioral. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My hours are 8 am to 2pm Monday through Friday . I have different hours for sessions and those include nights and weekends. Please visit my schedule.
