Life can feel overwhelming—especially during major transitions or when anxiety, depression, trauma, imposter syndrome, or low self-esteem begin to take hold. If you’re an adult (18+) feeling stuck or weighed down, you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to help you create meaningful change, break free from unhelpful patterns, and develop greater self-compassion. Together, we’ll explore the stressors in your life, find ways to manage anxiety, and build a sense of balance that feels aligned with your values and goals. My approach is about meeting you where you are and empowering you to move forward with clarity, confidence, and renewed strength.
Your first session, often called an intake session, is a welcoming space where we begin building our connection. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, so my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. In this session, you’ll have the chance to share what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain. We’ll explore your background—such as relationships, career, family, and important life experiences—not to label, but to better understand your unique story. We’ll also talk about any past mental health experiences or coping tools you’ve tried, and begin clarifying your goals for therapy. This time is about building trust and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. We’ll also use it to make sure we’re a good fit for working together. Feeling nervous is completely normal, and you’re welcome to share any concerns as they arise. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of your needs and begin shaping a collaborative plan for moving forward—at a pace that feels right for you.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is the authenticity and empathy I bring to each session. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood—a safe environment where vulnerability is met with compassion, not judgment. Having navigated my own life challenges, I bring a relatable and grounded presence that helps clients feel at ease in sharing their stories. I take a tailored approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to help clients interrupt negative thought patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and reconnect with their strengths, empowering them to move forward with clarity and confidence. Above all, I believe in the power of a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship. I bring both validation and guidance to our work, helping clients manage current challenges while also fostering long-term personal growth. By encouraging self-awareness and supporting alignment with core values and goals, I aim to provide a therapeutic experience that is not only effective but also deeply meaningful.
I work with adults (18-60) navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and compassion fatigue. Many of my clients are high achievers, caregivers, or dependable ones who have always “held it together,” yet find themselves overwhelmed, burnt out, or feeling disconnected from the life they truly want. They may be facing career shifts, relationship changes, or the resurfacing of past wounds that stir self-doubt and an overactive inner critic. In our work together, I offer a safe, supportive space to slow down, release old patterns, and reconnect with your authentic self. Together, we’ll challenge negative beliefs, cultivate self-compassion, and build coping strategies—so you can align with your values, restore balance, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I know how overwhelming life can feel—especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, or self-doubt start to overshadow your daily experience. If you’re feeling stuck, struggling with negative thoughts, or navigating low self-esteem, you’re not alone. It takes strength to reach out, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. In our work together, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand and shift the thought patterns that may be holding you back. CBT offers practical tools to reduce anxiety, ease depression, and build self-confidence by challenging unhelpful beliefs and learning new ways of thinking. We’ll explore the roots of these patterns and create meaningful strategies to move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I’ll meet you where you are, offering compassionate guidance as we work to reduce stress, build emotional resilience, and develop greater self-compassion. Together, we’ll focus on creating positive, lasting change—one step at a time. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your goals.
In our work together, I’ll incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help you reconnect with the present moment and loosen the grip of negative thoughts and self-criticism. Mindfulness invites you to become aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations—without judgment. Through this non-judgmental awareness, we can begin to understand your triggers, shift how you relate to difficult emotions, and create space to respond with intention rather than react from habit. Mindfulness isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about honoring where you are. Together, we’ll focus on slowing down, cultivating self-compassion, and developing tools to manage anxiety and stress in everyday life. This approach supports emotional resilience by helping you build a more grounded and accepting relationship with yourself. You deserve support that meets you where you are and helps you move toward lasting emotional well-being—one mindful step at a time.
In our work together, I’ll use Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to help you explore how your relationships and social dynamics impact your emotional well-being. IPT is a structured, supportive approach that focuses on the quality of your connections—with others and with yourself. We’ll identify patterns in your relationships that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or self-doubt and work to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and strengthen meaningful connections. This approach is especially helpful during life transitions—such as job changes, relationship shifts, or periods of personal uncertainty—that can affect how supported and grounded you feel. We’ll explore ways to build or enhance your support system so it aligns with your needs and goals. Throughout our sessions, you’ll develop tools to navigate relationships with more confidence, manage emotional stressors, and increase self-compassion. With IPT, our focus is on creating realistic, lasting changes that empower you to feel more connected, emotionally balanced, and aligned in your day-to-day life.
In our work together, I’ll use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help you shift your focus from what feels overwhelming or unchangeable toward the possibilities and strengths already within you. SFT is a goal-oriented, collaborative approach that emphasizes small, meaningful steps forward. Rather than dwelling on problems, we’ll highlight your resources, successes, and inner resilience to create realistic, achievable solutions. This approach is especially effective during times when you feel stuck or weighed down by anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. We’ll identify your hopes for the future, clarify what “better” looks like for you, and explore practical steps you can take right now to move closer to that vision. Throughout our sessions, you’ll learn to recognize what’s working, build on your strengths, and practice strategies that fit your life and goals. With SFT, our focus is on creating momentum and confidence—empowering you to move forward with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of possibility.
