(she/her)
I understand how overwhelming life can feel—especially during major transitions or when anxiety, depression, trauma, imposter syndrome, or low self-esteem begin to take a toll. If you’re an adult (18+) feeling stuck or emotionally weighed down, you’re not alone. I’m here to help you create meaningful change, break free from unhelpful thought patterns, and cultivate greater self-compassion. Together, we’ll address the stressors in your life, manage anxiety, and work toward building a life that feels more balanced and aligned with your goals. You deserve support that meets you where you are and empowers you to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Your first session, often called the intake session, is a welcoming space where we begin to build a connection. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. During this session, you'll have the opportunity to share what’s brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain. We’ll explore your background—such as your relationships, career, family, and significant life experiences—not to label, but to better understand your unique story and needs. We’ll also discuss any previous mental health experiences or coping tools you've used, and begin identifying your goals for our work together. This session is about building trust and creating a non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. Therapy works best when there’s a strong, authentic connection, so part of our time together will be spent making sure we’re a good fit. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s completely normal—and I welcome you to share any concerns that come up. By the end of the intake session, we’ll have a clearer sense of your needs and a collaborative roadmap for moving forward. This is your space, and I’m here to support your healing journey at a pace that feels right for you.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is the authenticity and empathy I bring to the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly understood. My approach is compassionate and grounded, meeting each person where they are with genuine care and without judgment. Because I’ve faced many of life’s challenges myself, I bring a relatable presence to our work—one that helps clients feel safe enough to be open and vulnerable. I take pride in tailoring my therapeutic approach to each client’s unique needs. Whether through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, or Interpersonal Therapy, I focus on finding what works best for the individual in front of me. My adaptability allows me to help clients develop self-compassion, interrupt negative thought cycles, and reconnect with their strengths—empowering them to move forward with resilience and renewed confidence. Above all, I believe in the power of a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship. I bring both validation and guidance to our work, helping clients manage current challenges while also fostering long-term personal growth. By encouraging self-awareness and supporting alignment with core values and goals, I aim to provide a therapeutic experience that is not only effective but also deeply meaningful.
I work with adults navigating the complexities of life—those who, like all of us at times, feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, imposter syndrome, or low self-esteem. Many of my clients are facing major life transitions, such as career shifts, changes in relationships, or the resurfacing of past emotional wounds. These experiences often bring up feelings of disconnection, uncertainty, or self-doubt. In a world that praises strength and self-sufficiency, my clients are often the ones who have always held it together—the high achievers, the dependable ones, the caregivers. But constantly pushing through without support can lead to burnout, emotional exhaustion, and a deep misalignment between the life they’re living and the one they truly want. Many also struggle with an inner critic that diminishes their self-worth, despite everything they’ve accomplished. In our work together, I create a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin healing. I’ll help you challenge negative beliefs, release old patterns, and build self-compassion—so you can live in greater alignment with your values and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I know how overwhelming life can feel—especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, or self-doubt start to overshadow your daily experience. If you’re feeling stuck, struggling with negative thoughts, or navigating low self-esteem, you’re not alone. It takes strength to reach out, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. In our work together, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand and shift the thought patterns that may be holding you back. CBT offers practical tools to reduce anxiety, ease depression, and build self-confidence by challenging unhelpful beliefs and learning new ways of thinking. We’ll explore the roots of these patterns and create meaningful strategies to move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I’ll meet you where you are, offering compassionate guidance as we work to reduce stress, build emotional resilience, and develop greater self-compassion. Together, we’ll focus on creating positive, lasting change—one step at a time. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your goals.
In our work together, I’ll incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help you reconnect with the present moment and loosen the grip of negative thoughts and self-criticism. Mindfulness invites you to become aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations—without judgment. Through this non-judgmental awareness, we can begin to understand your triggers, shift how you relate to difficult emotions, and create space to respond with intention rather than react from habit. Mindfulness isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about honoring where you are. Together, we’ll focus on slowing down, cultivating self-compassion, and developing tools to manage anxiety and stress in everyday life. This approach supports emotional resilience by helping you build a more grounded and accepting relationship with yourself. You deserve support that meets you where you are and helps you move toward lasting emotional well-being—one mindful step at a time.
In our work together, I’ll use Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to help you explore how your relationships and social dynamics impact your emotional well-being. IPT is a structured, supportive approach that focuses on the quality of your connections—with others and with yourself. We’ll identify patterns in your relationships that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or self-doubt and work to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and strengthen meaningful connections. This approach is especially helpful during life transitions—such as job changes, relationship shifts, or periods of personal uncertainty—that can affect how supported and grounded you feel. We’ll explore ways to build or enhance your support system so it aligns with your needs and goals. Throughout our sessions, you’ll develop tools to navigate relationships with more confidence, manage emotional stressors, and increase self-compassion. With IPT, our focus is on creating realistic, lasting changes that empower you to feel more connected, emotionally balanced, and aligned in your day-to-day life.
