Hello! I am Lisa Lindsey-Robinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the state of Illinois. I specialize in helping people of all ages deal with thoughts, challenges, and emotions that affect their daily lives. I provide a safe space to unravel complex issues and will work with you to rebuild and strengthen those factors that hinder growth and progress. My goal is to address your needs and guide you towards a fulfilling and balanced life.
I have 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents from all walks of life. My expertise is in substance abuse, depression, relationships, family concerns, trauma and PTSD. I know sometimes people go through difficult times. They think something’s wrong with them because they have problems. Nothing could be further from the truth. Having difficulties is part of the human experience. Many people pretend they’re okay when they’re not. They keep all their pain and suffering to themselves. They’re afraid if they tell the truth, they’ll be abandoned and rejected. Therapy can open the door for you to stop pretending you’re “fine.” You can find the freedom to be you. Therapy can help you to come out of isolation and start living again. You'll start to feel better because you're showing the real you and you're connecting with someone. Your therapist can be a “loving witness to your pain.”
I began training to be a psychotherapist 15 years ago after having worked in publishing for many years. Becoming a Social Worker and helping others has always been a kind of calling for me, but it took a little while for me to arrive at my goal. I hope that that part of my story helps to prove that it is never too late to change or to pursue goals. I continue to integrate the things that I have learned through formal education and through my own experiences of life so that I am best able to help others who are experiencing distress and difficulties with navigating life.
We all need additional support from time-to-time, especially given the complicated, fast-changing world we live in. My goal as a psychotherapist is to be a source of support and assistance as you develop insight into the difficulties you face and as you begin to develop strategies for change. Through interactive-therapy sessions, I help you to understand and clarify life’s challenges and I support you as you begin to make the changes that are needed to make progress towards your goals. I help my clients to discover and explore a positive path in therapy that they can then continue to follow as they pursue their goals and their lives independently.
I believe therapy should feel calm, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I create a space where people can slow down, speak openly, and feel heard without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern.
My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, gain clarity, heal, and begin moving forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.
With a BA from Tulane University and an MSW from the University of Illinois-Chicago, I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2000. My professional journey has been deeply rewarding, focusing on supporting individuals facing chronic illness, hospice care, depression, and anxiety.
I utilize a strength-based approach combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower my clients. Throughout my career, I have developed a special affinity for working with older adults. My experience at Lutheran General Hospital and Alexian Brothers Medical Center, where I worked in case management and geropsychiatry, has honed my skills in addressing the unique challenges faced by this population.
My passion lies in helping my clients navigate the complexities of loss and life transitions. I am committed to providing compassionate and effective psychotherapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Something brought you here. Maybe it is a specific problem that needs solving, or maybe it is a general sense that things could be better. Either way, reaching out takes courage, and you deserve to work with someone who takes that decision seriously.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and various types of life transitions. My work is grounded in deep compassion, hope and the belief that every person has inherent worth. My approach is warm, direct, practical and tailored to what you need. For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian principles and faith-based perspectives into our sessions, offering a space where your spiritual journey can be interwoven into your healing and growth.
I draw from psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches as well as from cognitive behavioral therapy. But honestly, the research is clear: the most important factor in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. And that is what I seek to prioritize in my work with people. I believe in this work because I have seen what happens when people get the right support. It changes everything.
Outside the office I am an outdoor enthusiast, a Bible nerd and a firm believer that rest is productive.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience, supporting people through various stages of life. I have worked in a variety of contexts over the course of my career including community mental health, corrections, private practice and the Veterans Administration.
Let's meet for a free 15 minute consultation to see if we might be a good team to address your concerns.
I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower.
In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I provide compassionate counseling that is designed around what each person may be struggling with. My hope for you is to help enhance well-being, build self-awareness, restore emotional balance and foster healing and acceptance. With over 20 years experience in the field, I have seen how depression, anxiety, PTSD, among many other issues can impact our ability to thrive. I specialize in working through bad news, failures or unwanted changes that we all experience and find a way through with hope and direction. I established Fail Safe Counseling for this purpose.

My name is Miranda, and I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can take a breath, be yourself, and feel genuinely heard—not another place where you have to have everything figured out. I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach and create a supportive, collaborative space where we can work together toward meaningful change. I believe therapy can be both productive and approachable, with room for a little lightheartedness along the way.
I believe self-care looks different for everyone, and I try to make space for the things that bring me joy, connection, and balance. I bring that same perspective into my work with clients. Finding small, meaningful ways to care for yourself can make a big difference, especially during stressful or transitional seasons of life. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected while developing practical tools that fit your everyday life.

How can I help?
Hello, I’m Sherise Nicholas, LCSW, CADC. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I work with adults and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and everyday life concerns. My approach combines practical coping strategies with a strengths-based perspective to help clients build resilience, improve self-awareness, and create meaningful and lasting change."
I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University in Chicago. I believe the most essential element of therapy is developing a trusting, therapeutic alliance in order to facilitate change. I specialize in integrated treatments for addressing co-occurring disorders, offering genuine compassion, honesty, and humor, along with a trauma informed care approach to treatment.
I work independently running a private practice and my experiences include working as an outpatient mental health therapist at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, serving those struggling with mental health issues as well as psychiatric disorders in the community. I have also provided psychotherapy at Family Guidance Centers, assisting those with substance use and psychiatric disorders after completing my internship with Rosecrance Treatment Center working as a substance abuse counselor.
I would describe myself as warm, honest, and practical. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly heard and understood, while also helping you take meaningful steps toward the life you want. Every person already has strengths within them, even when stress, pain, or old patterns make those strengths hard to access.
In our work together, I will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and respect. I will also be direct when needed. I do not believe therapy is about judgment, but I do believe growth often requires accountability, honesty, and a willingness to try new ways of thinking and responding.

Hi, I’m Jen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress, depression, low motivation, grief, and difficult life transitions.
I believe healing begins with understanding yourself in a deeper way. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools to regulate your nervous system, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change.
My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Change is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Hello, I’m Fernanda, a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Let’s be honest—life can be hard, and sometimes the struggle feels like a lot to carry on your own. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from different backgrounds who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and everything in between.
Mental health doesn’t look the same for everyone, and therapy shouldn’t either. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel heard without judgment, and work together to find what truly works for you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can start wherever you are.

My favorite areas of work include grief & loss, navigating medical diagnosis, and college aged individuals! I would describe my style as laid back but direct. I use a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution focused, and EMDR if appropriate.
Flexibility, welcoming / safe space, non-judgmental, and compassionate are some of the values I bring to the counseling sessions. I hold a doctoral degree in counseling with specializations in clinical mental health and clinical rehabilitation counseling. I recognize it takes courage to seek therapy and implement changes and would love to assist you on your journey of discovery. I understand that it may be difficult to open up and talk to someone and I pride myself on being an active and nonjudgemental listener. I am genuinely interested in helping everyone I come in contact with thrive in all aspects of their personal and/or professional lives. I will constantly work to promote an empathetic experience where an individual’s needs, concerns, and personal values are met with compassion and respect. I am devoted to creating a safe place that both fosters and aids emotional growth and healing.
Hi! My name is Bianca, I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent over a decade in the lives of people who needed someone in their corner. From community centers to classrooms to living rooms, I've worked alongside children, families, teenage girls finding their voice, kids who had every reason not to trust another adult, and everyday people just trying to make it through. That range shaped me. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families carrying trauma, transitions, and the weight of just trying to hold it together — and I'm committed to making sure cost is never the reason someone doesn't get support. People heal when they feel safe and truly seen. That's the work.
Hello, and congratulations on taking the important step toward improving your life and overall well-being. My name is Jacqueline Harvey, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you begin your journey toward healing, growth, and positive change. As a counselor with over 20 years of experience, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of life challenges and emotional concerns including addiction, grief and loss, codependency, communication issues, anxiety, depression, transitional life changes, ADHD, dementia, caregiver stress, etc. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a License in Clinical Social Work in the State of IL. I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being and I feel that individuals already possess the strength, insight, and answers they need within themselves. My role is to help empower and equip you with the support, and guidance necessary to dig deep within and find the tools to create meaningful life change.
I would best describe myself as someone who seeks to provide a compassionate and effective approach to people seeking change. It takes a lot to become a therapist. I often think of a therapist as a rock in a tumbler. We spend a lot of time smoothing out our own rough edges so that we can be helpful to others. Your life is your own. I work with people to discover what they want and what's standing in their way.
In my experience as a counselor, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals in various settings. I have worked with children and adults in the community, residential, hospital, and educational settings. In each environment I have witnessed the marvel of human potential firsthand. As a clinician I approach people and the work that I do from the belief that people have the innate ability to grow and heal on their own. My personal life experience and my practice have fostered this belief, recognizing that the process may require or be made more manageable with some assistance or a guide, in the form of counseling.
Through my experiences I have witnessed the benefits of the human components that aid in the healing process of psychological symptoms that create difficulty in moving toward fulfillment and full integration of the human experience in the lives of many. The therapeutic relationship, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard are components that for me represent the core of therapy. These components create an experience in which someone can safely explore themselves, their experiences, the world around them, and identify solutions to ailments and the "true self" that is often altered by the world around us.
Hello, I'm Tia. I'm a trauma therapist and EMDR-trained clinician, and the founder of Infinitely Healing Counseling Services, PLLC. My passion lies in helping individuals break free and embark on their unique journey of healing and mental well-being.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling to keep up with life’s constant changes? Do you ever feel alone, isolated, or caught in the middle of difficult relationships? Maybe you’re trying to break free from generational cycles, heal childhood wounds, or carry burdens that were never meant to be yours. I hear you. I’ve been there—we all have. But that doesn’t mean you have to go through it alone.
With extensive experience in crisis stabilization and trauma-informed care, I recognize the profound impact our environment has on our overall functioning and well-being. By adopting a holistic approach to therapy, I am committed to empowering individuals to enhance their internal skills and resilience, enabling them to effectively navigate life's challenges
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who genuinely enjoys getting to know the person behind the symptoms. I work with teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or simply not quite like themselves. Sometimes you know exactly what you need help with; other times, you just know something feels off. I’ll meet you wherever you are, without judgment, and we’ll make sense of it together. My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, practical, and compassionate. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, take a breath, and know that someone is genuinely invested in helping you feel better—not just checking boxes.
Hi! I am an LCSW licensed in Illinois. I have an MSW from Tulane University and a Doctor of Social Work from the University of California. My work takes a holistic healing approach, focusing on the intersection of mind and body in the healing process. My experience has spanned 10 years in working with individuals healing from trauma and grief and loss.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of work, parenting, or life in general? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I work with adults who are struggling to manage stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression, especially those trying to juggle the pressures of professional and personal responsibilities. I have a special focus on supporting educators and school professionals who often give so much to others that their own well-being takes a back seat.
Together, we’ll create a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. My approach is warm, practical, and tailored to help you feel better and find a sense of balance again.
Before transitioning into private practice, I spent 34 years working in public schools, helping students, families, and staff navigate life’s challenges. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how stress shows up across all areas of life—and how important it is to have a safe place to process, heal, and grow.
Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard and understood. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other difficulties. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, we will work together to build on your strengths, develop helpful coping skills, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing is about more than reducing symptoms—it’s about helping you reconnect with the person you were always meant to be. If you’ve been living in survival mode, carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, know that healing is possible. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you move toward lasting emotional wellness.
I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that honors the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals, recognizing that every healing journey is different.
Many of the people I work with have spent years putting everyone else’s needs before their own. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, burnout, unresolved trauma, grief, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Others are navigating difficult relationships, divorce, parenting challenges, or significant life changes and want healthier ways to cope. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin creating new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding that support the life you want to build.
Our work together will focus on understanding how past experiences continue to influence your present. We’ll explore the beliefs, behaviors, and emotional patterns that developed as protective strategies while learning practical skills to regulate your nervous system, manage stress, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate resilience. My goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you create meaningful, sustainable change that lasts long after therapy ends.

I am a Bilingual (Spanish) Clinical Social Worker. I am experienced in working with a variety of issues including immigrant and minority issues, trauma, obesity, brain injury, PTSD, abuse, infertility, chronic medical illness, attachment, grief and loss, pet loss, adoption, ADHD, anxiety, depression and coping with divorce and co-parenting.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. I am EMDR trained and have worked extensively with those who have lived with chronic trauma experiences. I have lived in Bolivia, Guatemala and Spain.
I use a variety of interventions, including art and drawing, to spur the introspection process on the path to healing. I strongly recommend combining a mind and body approach to help you connect with and reveal your true inner self.
I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression.
The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake."
I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions.
My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.
I'm a psychotherapist and Clinical Social Worker with 26 years experience providing mental health care for individuals, couples and families. I have experience providing brief and long-term therapy with adolescents and adults coping with a spectrum of mental health conditions; grief and loss; relationship issues; occupational problems and social injustices. It's exciting when relief and hope grow from therapy and the relationship supports meaningful change.
