Orren Reeves
Hi, I’m Orren Reeves, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting teens and adults through life’s challenges. I believe healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore what you’re experiencing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to move forward with greater confidence and clarity. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic to you
First session
I specialize in working with teens & adults who are navigating stress, depression, anxiety and major life transitions. I provide a supportive, judgement free space to process emotions, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
Strengths
As a licensed therapist, with more than a decade of experience, I believe healing begins with connection. I'm trained in trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches, helping clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they navigate life's challenges
Ideal clients
My ideal client is a teen or adult who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, misunderstood, or uncertain about what comes next. They may be experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-confidence, family concerns, academic or career pressure, or major life transitions. Some may be adjusting to adulthood, college, parenthood, new relationships, or changes in their identity. Many of my clients are used to being strong for everyone else while neglecting their own emotional needs. They may appear confident on the outside but privately feel exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. They may struggle with boundaries, communication, emotional regulation, or believing they deserve support. Their goals are to understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, build healthier relationships, strengthen their confidence, and develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges. They want to feel more emotionally balanced, make decisions with confidence, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic. Their mindset may be one of wanting change while feeling unsure about where to begin. They may be nervous about therapy or wonder if their concerns are “serious enough.” My ideal client does not need to have everything figured out. They simply need to be open to exploring their experiences, learning new skills, and taking steps toward growth. Therapy is a collaborative, judgment-free space where clients can slow down, process their experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help each client feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward becoming the healthiest version of themselves, with resilience too.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My approach is collaborative, practical, and trauma-informed, helping clients recognize patterns that may be affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, confidence, and daily lives. In sessions, I help clients identify unhelpful thoughts and explore how those thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we examine patterns such as negative self-talk, all-or-nothing thinking, catastrophizing, or expecting the worst. Clients learn to challenge these thoughts and develop healthier, more balanced perspectives. I also use CBT to help clients develop practical coping skills for managing stress, anxiety, emotions, communication, and difficult situations. Depending on the client’s goals, we may practice problem-solving, boundary setting, emotional regulation, and healthier ways to respond to challenges. I encourage clients to apply these skills between sessions so they can recognize progress in their everyday lives. My trauma-informed approach allows me to consider how past experiences may have influenced current thoughts and behaviors. I help clients explore these patterns without judgment or blame. My goal is not to tell clients what to think. Instead, I help them become more aware of their thoughts, recognize their choices, and develop tools that support healthier behaviors, stronger relationships, greater confidence, and meaningful change.
