My approach is solution focused. I am not primarily concerned with how or why your present challenge developed but will focus instead on helping you to find a way forward. I hope to elicit and reinforce your positive attributes and competencies and help you to access your inner strength. Your ability to change or improve your situation depends on your desire to do so and my job is to awaken that desire within you. The biggest challenge all of us face is negative thinking. This is a reflection of our own disappointment of what we see when we look inside ourselves. By improving our self-image through accentuating our positive qualities we begin to see the world in a more positive light. A sure way of feeling better about ourselves is to find something good in every other human being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The purpose of our first session is to instill hope that whatever challenges you face can be overcome. I will help you access your best qualities and inner strength so that you can move forward in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is in helping you to identify what makes you special and what you truly want out of life. Once your day-to-day activities are in line with your highest values and your inborn gifts, you can then become the person you were meant to be.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I believe that most problems have practical solutions. I am not particularly interested in your past but am very interested in how to get you moving forward into the future. Together we will find ways to navigate through your present difficulties.

Strength-Based

I will help you to access your strengths in overcoming the challenges you face.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is about overcoming the biggest challenge that all of us face: negative thinking. Negative thinking is a bad habit that can be flipped so that positive thinking becomes the norm. I will help free you from negativity so that you can be the best version of yourself.
