First session
During our first visit, we will complete a full mental health assessment and evaluation. There will be lots of questions during this visit, especially regarding your medical and mental health history. Once we have completed your evaluation, we can then discuss a treatment plan specific to your needs that will get you on the road to feeling better as soon as possible. I deliver evidence-based treatments.
Strengths
In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where my patients feel heard and supported. I believe in a holistic approach to health and well-being, addressing both the mind and body to help my patients achieve their fullest potential.
Ideal clients
My specialties include medication management with psychotherapy of psychiatric disorders. I have worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings.
Treatment methods
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use exercises, metaphors, and mindfulness practices to integrate the six core processes of ACT together in sessions. The six core processes include acceptance, cognitive diffusion, being present, self as context, values clarification and committed action.
