Hello, I am Jocelyn. I was drawn to this profession because of my deep empathy and desire to help others break through patterns during challenging periods. I'm comfortable discussing even the most uncomfortable topics. Nothing is more fulfilling than accompanying someone on their journey of growth. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I'll focus on getting to know you and exploring what you'd like from therapy. We'll develop a personalized treatment plan with specific goals. I'm open to answering questions about the process. I believe it's important you feel connected to your therapist and see progress.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I integrate CBT, mindfulness, DBT, and Psychodynamic therapy to help you understand how past experiences affect your present, process emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop coping tools. I meet you where you are and stay at your pace. We'll focus on your goals to get the most out of our sessions. My style is warm, supportive, straightforward, and direct. I embody a client-centered approach and will meet you where you are in your journey.

I especially enjoy working with people looking to make changes by understanding and transforming patterns that no longer serve them.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Goal-Oriented Approach: In the initial sessions, I work with the client to define specific, measurable goals and formulate a treatment plan. Collaborative Partnership: I adopt a collaborative approach where we both actively participate in identifying thought patterns, practicing coping strategies, and reinforcing positive change. Time-Limited Framework: I generally use a structured, 12 to 20-week format, although this is adapted based on the individual's needs.
