I have been trained in CBT. Our minds and thoughts are so powerful! I have been successful helping Clients to slow down, observe and identify negative/ineffective thoughts and beliefs, reframe those thoughts, build better thoughts, leading to better behaviors (changing behaviors can also lead to better thoughts), leading to relief from anxiety, freedom, success, and joy in their lives.
I am trained in DBT. I utilize DBT skills in some way or another in most of my therapy sessions. I believe that DBT skills are some of the most practical and effective skills that can transform someone's life, if learned and implemented consistently. These skills include, distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal communication. When someone has these skills on lock, they can really reach new heights.
