Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Los Angeles, offering telehealth services to clients throughout California. I'm committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can truly explore whatever you're facing, even if that is just feeling stuck. I blend traditional therapeutic approaches with mindfulness and a deep consideration of your cultural context, as I believe healing is a continuous journey of personal evolution

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you've been carrying a lot. That's why our first session is truly about listening to you and gently starting our journey together. After warm introductions and setting some simple ground rules, we'll chat about what you're currently navigating – whether it's a specific event, a big life shift, a clear goal you have in mind, or a desire to explore yourself for deeper meaning. This initial meeting is also a wonderful chance for us to simply get a feel for each other. While I'll ask some questions to understand your background, my main focus is creating a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to open up. You'll also have plenty of time to ask me anything about our therapy process or confidentiality. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of how we can best begin your path toward positive change

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is built on trust and genuine connection, creating a warm engaging, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. As an active listener, I'm genuinely interested in your unique story, and we'll look beneath the surface through psychodynamic therapy to explore how past patterns influence your journey toward meaning and identity. I integrate practical, evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and may gently challenge old narratives to foster your growth. Believing true healing is holistic - connecting your mind, emotions, and body - we'll work to develop coping strategies and cultivate a more fulfilling, lasting transformation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support clients navigating common challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, work stress, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, and family dynamics. What truly resonates with me, however, is guiding you to understand yourself more deeply, exploring your values, purpose, and identity to live a more authentic life. This often involves gently uncovering deeper questions that emerge during significant life events, major transitions, or identity exploration. Setting goals for this work is a deeply collaborative and client-centered process. We'll begin by building trust and understanding your individual strengths, then work together to identify what's most important for you to focus on, typically concentrating on 1-2 meaningful goals at a time, knowing they can shift and expand as we progress

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I integrate CBT as a set of powerful tools to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, often called "cognitive distortions." We'll work collaboratively to recognize how these thoughts impact your mood and actions, then develop strategies to reframe them into more balanced and realistic perspectives.

Existential

Existential therapy, for me, is a profound way of understanding the human experience. My experience with this approach has shown me its power in helping individuals grapple with the fundamental questions of life that often underpin our struggles. These aren't always easy questions, but exploring them can lead to profound insights and a greater sense of peace.
