Hey, I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’m really glad you’re here. Taking this step for your mental health is a big deal, and I’m genuinely proud of you for making it a priority. You don’t have to figure this out alone—I’m excited to embark on this journey with you and help you navigate this process at a pace that feels right for you. In our work together, I pull from a few different modalities in my wheelhouse: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation and boundaries, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma‐Focused CBT (T‐CBT) for shifting unhelpful thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing for getting unstuck and building momentum, Family Systems for understanding family dynamics, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for living more in line with what truly matters to you. We might lean on one approach or blend several, but the goal is always the same—to help you feel more grounded, more understood, and more equipped to handle real-life stress, not just “therapy room” problems

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we’ll start with simple introductions and give you space to share where you’re at and what brings you to therapy. We’ll then go over the therapeutic agreement, including confidentiality and boundaries, so you know what to expect and what feels safe for you. Together, we’ll talk about what we each need from one another—your goals, my role, and how we’ll collaborate—to build a strong, respectful, and successful therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is built on the idea that mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all—especially for those who are juggling careers, parenting, relationships, and everything in between. Instead of forcing you into a rigid “therapy mold,” we’ll team up to figure out what’s actually going on in your life right now and choose evidence-based tools that fit your needs, your schedule, and your values. Think of it as personalized support, not generic advice. The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Life doesn't always come with a manual — and sometimes the obstacles it throws at us can feel like more than we know how to carry alone. I love working with teens who are navigating anxiety, depression, and panic, and who are still figuring out who they are in the middle of it all. I also work with adults juggling the everyday weight of responsibility — work, kids, a partner, and everything in between — who are looking for a space to breathe and reconnect with themselves. And I support families who are struggling to communicate, and couples working through the challenges that come with being in a relationship together. Wherever you're starting from, my goal is to help you feel less alone in it, and to build the tools and clarity you need to move forward. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to help. Schedule your first session and let's get started.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize Motivational Interviewing because real, lasting change has to come from you — not from being told what to do. So often, people come to therapy already knowing part of what they want to change, but feeling stuck, ambivalent, or unsure where to even start. Motivational Interviewing meets you in that uncertainty without judgment. Rather than pushing an agenda, I ask questions that help you explore your own reasons for change, your values, and what's really holding you back. This approach honors the fact that you are the expert on your own life — my role is to help you tap into the motivation that's already there, and build the confidence to act on it. I've found this especially powerful for clients who feel torn between where they are and where they want to be, whether that's around a relationship, a habit, a life transition, or simply figuring out who they want to become. It creates a collaborative space where you're never lectured or shamed — just supported in moving toward the life you actually want.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them run the show. Instead of waiting to feel "ready" or "fixed" before living the life you want, we work on identifying your core values and taking meaningful action toward them, even alongside the anxiety, grief, or self-doubt that shows up along the way. I love this approach because it's practical and deeply hopeful — it doesn't ask you to be different than you are, it asks you to get clear on what matters most to you and start moving in that direction. For clients feeling stuck in avoidance, perfectionism, or the exhausting cycle of trying to "think their way" out of pain, ACT offers a different path forward: one built on acceptance, presence, and committed action.
