New to Grow
I find it easy to connect with people from all walks of life, and hold space for people of all ages, socioeconomic statuses, ethnic backgrounds, gender expressions and sexual orientations. I am an active listener and provide a space that is free of judgment. I hope to help you on your journey as you develop practical and realistic goals for yourself.
Our first session will explore where you are in your current situation, what has brought you to seek out therapy, and where you hope to be moving forward. We will spend time exploring any thoughts, emotions or feelings that are coming up for you, how to manage any struggles you are currently facing as well as celebrate your successes.
Many people struggle with managing feelings of overwhelm. Our sessions will focus on what issues you feel are the most pressing. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that will help to decrease unwanted feelings and emotions, highlight the strengths that are helping you cope and develop new strategies along the way.
I enjoy being able to connect with people from all walks of life and am open to working with anyone who is motivated for change. I have experience working with all age groups. I know that reaching out for therapy can be intimidating for some, but I hope to provide a safe, non-judgmental space that helps you feel comfortable in addressing some areas of your life that you may not always feel open to sharing with others.
