In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients often feel more at peace when they know what to expect, especially during their first session. In our initial visit, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a comfortable, respectful connection. I’ll ask questions about your medical and mental health history, current concerns, and your goals for care. This is a no pressure space you’re welcome to share at your own pace. By the end of the session, we’ll outline a plan tailored to your needs so you know exactly what the next steps look like. It’s the beginning of a collaborative journey, and you won’t be navigating it alone

What makes me unique in my work as a nurse practitioner is the blend of clinical expertise and deep compassion I bring to every session. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations across a range of healthcare settings, which has taught me to listen deeply, think critically, and tailor care to each individual’s needs. My background includes not only medical training but also a strong foundation in mental health, trauma-informed care, and patient education. These experiences allow me to see the whole person not just symptoms and guide clients toward real, lasting change. I believe that healing happens in partnership, and I’m here to walk that path with you.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Processing therapy to help clients understand how trauma has effected their thoughts and beliefs. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and work to replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. This approach supports healing by reducing distress and improving daily functioning
