Stress and trauma take a toll on our bodies both mentally and physically. Therapy can help release that energy and process emotions. Some things I can help with are managing stress, healing from past trauma, identity exploration, and just navigating how to function and find joy in this crazy world. I tend to connect and work well with professionals with autism.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is to gather background information and life history. This will help me get to know you. We will also explore what you would like to work on in therapy and changes you would like to make. What do you feel is missing or lacking in your life? You are welcome to ask any questions along the way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work with adults to get relief from PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, and other fear-related issues.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My personality leans most towards a person-centered approach. This means I am honest, empathetic, and have unconditional acceptance of my clients. Therapy sessions are a safe space.

Existential

Existential concerns arise for many of us at some point in our lives. Existential therapy looks at meaning in life and helps us cope with some of life's unanswered questions.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic approaches are important to integrate into therapy to examine unconscious beliefs and how our past affects our present behaviors.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS looks at all the different parts of our personality. It is a useful tool for trauma and anxiety.
