New to Grow
Hi! I'm Ainisha and for more than 20 years, I have worked with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional disconnection, communication difficulties, and personal growth. My approach is client-centered, relational, and grounded in attachment theory, with a focus on helping my clients feel seen, understood and supported as they work toward meaningful change. I believe therapy works best within a safe, collaborative relationship where we explore patterns, deepen self-awareness and strengthen connections. While I primarily provide in-person sessions in my office in Largo, I also offer virtual appointments if time and travel are an issue. I welcome adults and couples seeking support with relationships, communication, intimacy, infidelity, infertility, anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional healing.
Expect our first session to feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace. During the initial session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy at this time, personal and relationship history, current stressors, and therapeutic goals that you hope to achieve in our work together. The first session is the beginning of understanding your needs and charting a path forward to meet them together.
My approach is compassionate, relational, and insight-oriented while also remaining practical and goal-oriented. My clients often describe feeling genuinely seen, understood, and emotionally safe in our work together. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to open up and honestly explore their strengths and growth areas without judgment. In addition to my work with couples and individuals, I have extensive experience as a trauma specialist and have worked across a variety of settings including community mental health clinics, schools, and public safety environments. This diverse background allows me to work effectively with clients facing complex stress, trauma exposure, anxiety, relationship strain, burnout, grief, and high-pressure life situations. I understand that every client's story is unique, and I strive to tailor therapy to meet each person's emotional needs, goals, and pace for growth. My focus is not simply symptom reduction, but helping clients build healthier relationships, deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and more fulfilling lives.
I am best positioned to serve adults and couples who are seeking deeper understanding, healthier relationships, emotional healing, and meaningful personal growth. Many of the clients I work with are navigating relationship distress, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, trust issues, unresolved trauma, trauma, anxiety or patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Because of my experience across a number settings, I am also well suite to work with helping professionals, first responders, correctional staff, educators, caregivers, and others working in high-stress or emotionally demanding environments. Clients who tend to benefit the most from working with me are those looking for a therapist who is warm, experienced, emotionally attuned, collaborative, and able to balance compassion with honest insight.
