First session
Briefly, in the first session with me, you can expect to share all relevant information that will help us establish a strong foundation for the subsequent ones. This information includes the reason for your visit, your background, current situation, the pace you want to set in your treatment and the approach that works for you. Based on information available, I provide you with the practical options to go forward with a treatment plan.
Strengths
I open heartedly listen to my clients and try to see the world in their view. As much as possible, I try to tailor treatment plans to their needs and based on their strength.
Ideal clients
My evidence-based treatment approach is tailored to the needs of each individual and their wellness goals. I incorporate psychotherapy modalities such as CBT and DBT to supplement psychopharmacology as needed. I sees patients 6 year and older with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Bipolar and Psychotic Disorder, Depression and PTSD.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as it is is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for a variety of mental health issues. CBT helps identify and challenge negative or irrational thoughts, transforming them into healthier and more balanced thinking patterns. This can lead patients to experience improved mood and emotional regulation. CBT alsoe helps you to develop skills for Long-Term Wellness. By focusing on practical skills and strategies, CBT empowers you to cope with life's challenges more effectively. It provides tools to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and other conditions in the long run. As it is a typically short-term therapy that focuses on specific goals, it makes it a time-efficient approach for those looking to make meaningful changes quickly. It is practical and non-judgmental, allowing clients to feel heard and supported. The primary focus is on the present and how current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect your well-being.
