Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California with a Master’s from California State University Long Beach. For the past nine years, I’ve provided therapeutic support to individuals and families, helping parents navigate challenging behaviors, build stronger attachments with their little ones, and heal from their own childhood wounds. I also have a passion for working with young adults and the elderly population, supporting them through life transitions, grief, and emotional well-being.

I have years of experience using parenting interventions to strengthen caregiver-child relationships and enhance behavior management skills, especially for families navigating behavioral challenges and trauma related issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Throughout my practice, I’ve used CBT to assist many clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage anxiety. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By shifting unhelpful thinking patterns, you can reduce stress and anxiety, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Attachment-based

Our early relationships play a vital role in the way we see and navigate the world. Through attachment therapy I have helped clients shape their emotional responses, behaviors, and connections with others. Thought this intervention we can identify and heal attachment wounds, leading to stronger, more secure relationships. This approach fosters emotional regulation, improves communication, and builds a greater sense of trust and safety in both personal and parenting relationships.

Psychoeducation

I aim to empower my clients by providing knowledge about their mental health, emotions, and behaviors. Through understanding the psychological processes behind your unique challenges, we can develop effective coping strategies to help you feel more in control of your well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

Over the years I have used Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their ambivalence about change and build the confidence to take meaningful steps toward their goals. Together we will work to identify your strengths, clarify values, and enhance motivation for positive change. This method is especially effective for overcoming resistance, building self-efficacy, and fostering lasting personal growth.
