Victoria is intelligent and insightful, seeing symptoms that you thought were so internalized that they were invisible. She tells you what you NEED to hear, not what you WANT to hear, and is very direct. She is very caring and genuinely wants her patients to feel better and live a healthy successful life- she works WITH her patients instead of for them. ❤️❤️

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual and use a variety of treatment modalities. CBT focuses on reducing symptoms of various mental health conditions. CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions, such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes and their behaviors in order to improve how one regulates emotions. I teach coping strategies that target specific problems. I also use positive psychology, bibliotherapy, and ACT as well as person centered and motivational therapy.

Positive Psychology

I feel that life has many silver linings, even in the face of heartache, death or despair. Sometimes one needs a professional therapist to shed light on this, and awaken the positives in ones life.
