(she/her)
Everyone’s life journey is different. I am here to help you continue to be the best version of you through healing and acceptance. I am a bilingual therapist who cares about providing a safe space to empower mental health and wellness in BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), and all communities. My primary approach is person-centered focused, as I allow you to guide the way through your life journey and needs. Much of my experience is working with adolescents, families, individuals, and Latinx community, experiencing relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, and stress management. I have worked in community settings, schools, and telehealth. As a therapist, my goal is to make sure that my clients feel safe, empowered, and supported. As well, to be flexible to your needs as we work collaboratively to help you reach your goals. We will get curious about your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, feelings, and how they affect your life and relationships. If you're looking to make some changes in your life, then therapy is the perfect place to start.
After our initial session, you will develop an identifiable goal that you would like to work on and achieve in therapy. After our first session together, I hope that you walk away with a sense of hope, and understanding that you already took a major step towards improved well-being. In our follow up sessions, I will continue to learn more about you, what you want to get out of therapy, and how we can work together towards achieving your goals.
Depending on your specific concerns and needs, I utilize therapeutic modalities that helps support your growth. I incorporate modalities such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy and strengths-based therapy.
My biggest strengths are connecting with clients and developing personalized and achievable goals. As well, I am genuinely interested in who you are as a person and staying present with you in the moment.
