New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, substance use, addiction, and life's challenges with compassion and practical support. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we'll build the skills and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change while working toward the goals that matter most to you.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, and it's completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. You don't need to have everything figured out before our first session. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. We'll explore the challenges you're facing, any relevant background information, your strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin identifying meaningful goals and discuss an approach that fits your unique needs. I'll answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you feel informed and confident moving forward. Before the session ends, we'll review next steps and begin developing practical strategies you can start applying in your daily life. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged, with a clearer understanding of where you're headed and the confidence that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I strive to create a balance of compassion, honesty, and accountability in every session. My clients know they have a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can openly share their thoughts and experiences, while also receiving practical guidance and gentle challenges that promote growth. I don't believe therapy is just about talking through problems—it's about developing the skills and confidence to create lasting change. I tailor each session to the individual because no two people have the same experiences or goals. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, we'll work together to identify what's keeping you stuck and build realistic strategies that fit your life. I value collaboration and believe you are the expert on your own experiences. My role is to provide support, evidence-based tools, and honest feedback while helping you recognize your strengths and move toward the life you want to create.
My ideal clients are adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, addiction, stress, or major life transitions and are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. They are motivated to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change, even if they're unsure where to begin.
I use CBT to help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build practical coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore mixed feelings about change without judgment. Together, we'll strengthen your motivation, identify your personal values, and build confidence in making meaningful, lasting changes.
I believe meaningful change begins in a supportive, accepting environment. Using a person-centered approach, I provide empathy, respect, and genuine support while helping clients discover their strengths and develop greater self-awareness.
Rather than focusing only on problems, we'll identify your strengths, build on what's already working, and create realistic, achievable goals. This approach helps clients make meaningful progress while developing confidence in their ability to overcome challenges.
I help clients recognize their existing strengths and resilience while building practical skills to navigate life's challenges. Therapy focuses on what is working and how we can use those strengths to support lasting growth.
