I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a relational, trauma-informed approach to therapy. I believe in creating a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based theories, while also incorporating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral tools, and a strengths-based lens. I specialize in working with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, identity exploration, and the long-term impact of trauma. Whether you’re processing past experiences or working through present challenges, I offer a steady, compassionate presence and a thoughtful space to support your growth and healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, we conduct a brief intake, which I also like to call "the intro/orientation session". We use this first session to get to know one another, start treatment planning, and set goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a grounded, intuitive presence to therapy, blending clinical expertise with real-world understanding. My greatest strengths include the ability to build authentic rapport quickly, hold space for complex emotions without judgment, and guide clients with a balance of compassion and accountability. I’m highly skilled in helping people make sense of their experiences—especially those navigating trauma, life transitions, or identity shifts. I also bring creativity, humor, and cultural sensitivity into the room, allowing clients to feel both seen and supported.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes, even if they’re not quite sure where to start. My ideal clients are often navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, or depression. Many are high-functioning but emotionally overwhelmed—juggling responsibilities while quietly struggling with self-doubt, burnout, or past trauma. Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional balance, or stronger boundaries, I provide a safe and supportive space to unpack what’s heavy and rediscover your strengths. Together, we’ll set goals that align with your values and work toward lasting, practical change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by identifying core values, developing mindfulness skills, and learning to accept difficult thoughts rather than avoid them. I guide clients in committing to actions that align with their values, even in the face of emotional discomfort.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and behavioral issues. Through collaborative goal setting, cognitive restructuring, and skill-building exercises, I support clients in developing healthier coping strategies and more balanced thinking.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT by teaching clients skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. This approach is especially effective for individuals dealing with intense emotions, impulsivity, or self-harming behaviors. I tailor DBT strategies to help clients navigate real-life challenges with greater stability and self-awareness.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use solution-focused techniques to help clients identify their strengths and envision achievable goals. By emphasizing “what works” rather than exploring problems in depth, I support clients in building confidence and generating practical steps forward, even when they feel stuck.

Trauma Informed Care

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed principles, ensuring clients feel safe, empowered, and respected. I recognize the widespread impact of trauma and integrate a sensitivity to trauma histories into all aspects of care. This includes pacing sessions appropriately, fostering trust, and helping clients regain a sense of control over their healing process.
