My interest in mental health started at home, within myself and immediate family. From these experiences, I became passionate about the overall mental wellbeing of everyone around me, and I pursued mental and behavioral health education and training in Baltimore. With over ten years of professional experience, I use a blend of western and eastern treatment methods to help others reach their highest potential.
During our first session, I like to get an idea of what a person is looking for in a therapist, their previous experiences with managing their mental health personally and professionally, and what they want to see happen differently in their lives. With that, we can build a partnership in helping a person achieve these goals and promote overall well-being.
With my professional training and experience in western and eastern treatment methods, and personal experience walking on both sides of the field myself, I provide a genuine and empathetic experience as a mental health professional. In addition to being an LCSW-C, I am also certified in Usui Reiki and Sound Therapy.
I most enjoy helping people who are in pivotal periods of their lives, motivated for change, and interested in improving their whole self.

I was searching for someone who leaned more toward the holistic side of the house. Since much of what I do includes these modalities, it was important to speak with someone who understands that I use them as a healing tool. While reading Kait's profile/bio, I noticed she is a sound and Reiki practitioner. That's what made me book with her. I am very grateful to have found Kait.
