Leona Nobles-Harrington MSN, APN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC I am Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. I conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, brief supportive therapy, medication-assisted weight loss, active wellness support and GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing. I attended Widener University for Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, Walden University for Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Wilkes University for Post-Masters Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been a medical provider for over 17 years with experience treating psychiatric conditions in adults throughout various treatment settings such as acute care, long-term care, intensive outpatient program, primary care, and outpatient mental health. I am dual certified as a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and focus on treating the whole patient with an individualized treatment approach. I understand the importance collaborating with patients to develop treatment plans, patient education, advocating for patients and building a therapeutic alliance to support the patient having a better qualify of life. I provide psychiatric care for adult patients 18-65+.
During the first visit I will introduce myself and explain my role in your mental health care. I will ask questions to obtain history both medical and psychosocial. I will review your psychiatric symptoms and we will develop a treatment plan together.
