LCSW, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
My name is Eneida Diaz, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience in the field. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety and depression, helping them build insight, develop coping tools, and reconnect with a sense of balance and self-worth. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from a wide range of cultural backgrounds—including Indian, Latino, Black, and White communities—as well as with people from many walks of life, including children in foster care, incarcerated women, and high-achieving professionals. These experiences have deepened my respect for the resilience, strength, and complexity each person brings to the therapeutic space.
The first session with me is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. We’ll spend some time discussing your current challenges and the reasons you’re seeking therapy. The first session is also about building trust and establishing a collaborative relationship. It’s important that you feel empowered to take an active role in your therapy, so we’ll talk about your goals for treatment and discuss a plan moving forward.
My greatest stregntsh is my communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I believe that honest, open dialogue is the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. I take time to truly listen and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself freely. My goal is to help you feel supported and empowered as you explore your emotions and navigate challenges at your own pace. While I offer guidance and insight when appropriate, I believe therapy should be a shared process. I welcome your feedback and value your input—it’s important to me that you feel active and in control of your healing journey.
I work primarily with those who are navigating the challenges of life transition, depression, and anxiety. My goal is to guide you through the process of understanding and processing your emotions, empowering you to create lasting change in your life. If you're struggling with past emotional wounds, feeling overwhelmed by negative thought patterns, or looking to break free from unhealthy relationship dynamics, I’m here to help. I specialize in supporting clients who are facing interpersonal challenges, including family conflict, divorce, relationship codependency, and struggles with self-worth. I can help you work through these areas with care and practical tools.
I use a combination of evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)), and mindfulness techniques like breathing exercises and meditation—to help you uncover the root of your challenges and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
