I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes openness and connection are essential parts of personal growth and healing. My experience includes working in both high-intensity clinical settings and private practice environments, supporting individuals across the lifespan—from children to older adults—as they navigate life’s challenges. While I bring several years of clinical experience to my work, I also bring authenticity, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others feel understood. I began my career as a substance abuse case manager before transitioning into facilitating groups within Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs. I later provided individual therapy in a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) and currently work in community mental health, where I continue supporting individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”-Elvis Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first conversation, we’ll begin exploring what has brought you here—whether that’s burnout, high-functioning anxiety, chronic stress, relationship struggles, perfectionism, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself after spending so much energy caring for everyone else. Together, we’ll look at the patterns, pressures, and experiences that may be contributing to your current overwhelm while also identifying the strengths that have helped you survive up to this point. You can also expect me to ask thoughtful questions that help us better understand your story, your goals, and what you want life to feel like moving forward. My goal is not only to help you feel deeply heard and understood, but also to create a roadmap for meaningful change that feels realistic and supportive—not overwhelming. We’ll discuss practical tools and strategies you can begin using right away to help manage stress, regulate emotions, set healthier boundaries, and reconnect with your own needs and identity.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and free from judgment. Many of the people I work with are high-achievers, caregivers, or individuals who are so accustomed to “holding it all together” that they rarely allow themselves the opportunity to slow down, be vulnerable, or focus on their own needs. I work intentionally to create an environment where clients feel emotionally safe enough to let their guard down and begin exploring what’s happening beneath the surface—not just what they’re managing day to day, but the deeper patterns, pressures, and emotions contributing to their stress, burnout, or anxiety. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical or performative. While I provide empathy and emotional support, I also gently challenge clients in ways that encourage growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I want to help them better understand themselves, reconnect with their identity and needs, and build healthier ways of navigating relationships, boundaries, stress, and self-expectations. My goal is to help clients feel less alone, more grounded, and more confident in their ability to care for themselves while still showing up for the life they want to build.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals navigating burnout, high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, and a growing sense of disconnection from themselves. Many of my clients are used to being the dependable and capable ones in their circles, but they often struggle to slow down, set boundaries, or prioritize their own well-being without a heavy sense of guilt. Whether you are a high-achiever drowning in a "to-do" list or a caregiver who has forgotten how to be cared for, I provide a space where you can finally set that heavy mental load down. My goal is to help you move beyond just "getting through the day" by identifying the patterns that keep you stuck in a cycle of over-functioning. Together, we will work to silence the inner critic that demands perfection, helping you reconnect with your own voice and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I have experience integrating MI across individual therapy sessions, particularly with clients experiencing ambivalence related to behavioral change, anxiety, and life transitions. I frequently incorporate MI strategies when clients feel “stuck” or uncertain about next steps, helping them move toward self-directed goals.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel fully accepted and heard. I use empathic reflection and attunement to help clients deepen their awareness of thoughts and emotions

Compassion Focused

I help clients recognize how their threat system can drive patterns such as anxiety, avoidance, or harsh self-judgment. I guid clients in developing a more compassionate inner voice.
