New to Grow
I am a daughter, single mother, sister and friend. I am a clinician who values and honors diversity. I offer a judgement free zone where empathy and confidentiality are at the forefront. I value therapeutic intervention, as I too have been a client. I know the impact of a trained clinician and a committed client. My style is collaborative and client-centered. My goal is to help clients create lasting change and a deeper sense of personal wellness. Peace begins with caring for your mental health. I look forward to supporting my clients.
Our first session will focus on identifying your therapeutic goals, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, defining your expectations of therapy and establishing the therapeutic fit.
There is a science to therapeutic intervention. I am a data and results driven clinician. I start with a clinical baseline using assessment tools and routinely reassess for progression or regression. I am passionate about mental health, as it drives the nervous system, physical health and professional and personal relationships.
An ideal client values personal growth and is open to reflection, self-discovery and change. They may struggle with self-esteem issues, anxiety or low motivation. I work best with young adults, adults and aging adults who want to feel more grounded, confident, and intentional in how they live and connect with others. I assist clients to identify sources of anxiety, identify emotional triggers and understand how emotions influence relationships and personal outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT to help clients identify how their thinking patterns influence emotions, mood, decision-making and current relationships. CBT can help decrease anxiety, depression, stress, anger, low self-esteem and a host of other challenges.
Grief Therapy
In my practice, grief is normalized. There is no right or wrong way to grieve a loss. There is no timeframe placed on grief. Therapy can support clients navigate the impact of loss, emotional distress and unresolved feelings.
Psychodynamic
As a clinician, I use psychodynamic therapy to assist clients in identifying unconscious patterns, early childhood experiences and unresolved conflicts that may be guiding current behavior. The goal is increase emotional awareness and ultimately make healthier choices.
Strength-Based
Strength-Based therapy has a specific focus on the client's existing strengths, resilience and their inherent abilities. This therapeutic approach allows me to work collaboratively with my client to solve problems and create sustainable change.
