Welcome! I am an experienced psychotherapist passionately inclined to assist others in the delicate navigation of their human experience. I help orient clients to a more supportive and personal relationship with themselves that feels authentic and deeply aligned. I would be honored should you invite me into your inner journey toward greater self-actualization. I have worked with most diagnostic presentations of mental health and substance abuse in both inpatient and outpatient settings at variable degrees of acuity and chronicity. My eclectic approach helps meet clients where they are in their emotional process, believing that each person is unique and ripe with the potential for healing and transformation. High levels of empathy assure a deep human connection which feels safe.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session, we will review the symptoms and situations bringing you in, components of your life history and general goals for treatment. We will establish certain expectations and parameters of care. Most importantly, we will begin to establish a therapeutic rapport and build levels of trust.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have an existential lens, a reverence for consciousness studies, and view the universe as meaningful, synchronistic and something to be collaborated with to co-create a more purposeful life. When appropriate, I utilize astrological principles in my work. This archetypal language taps into the universal motivational patterns inherent in both the individual and collective psyches. We may utilize this approach, along with traditional interventions, to help identify and integrate the disowned parts of the self which lead to recurrent negative patterns. Utilizing astrological theory specifically allows us to see pinnacle moments of growth potential evident throughout the life cycle, allowing for more conscious use of our efforts toward self-betterment and greater management of our unique motivational personality structure.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Trained in both traditional and non-traditional therapeutic modalities, I work with those seeking a deeper understanding and mastery of their life journey to overcome emotional depletion and life resistance. I can assist in managing the existential crisis that can occur during life transitions. I also specialize in treating victims of narcissistic abuse as they heal from relational trauma and the complex grief associated. While learning self-validation skills to challenge co-dependencies, I help assist with honoring one's own limits, finding one's authentic self and divesting from the toxic dynamics within relationships.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

A powerful treatment approach that acknowledges most suffering stems from resistance; teaching us to soften into discomfort, tolerating levels of distress while living mindfully and committing to actions which lead to a more meaningful life by honoring and aligning with one's value system.

Existential

Exploring the philosophical aspects of the human condition in search of greater understanding and personal meaning. This often leads to transpersonal revelations and a soul-based focus.

Psychodynamic

Gaining insight into the effects of earlier (childhood) environments, relationships and experiences on unconscious thoughts, feelings and behaviors into current day. We work to identify patterns in relationships, associated attachment styles, learned defense mechanisms, and their impact on repetition compulsions.

Eclectic

My therapeutic approach is flexible and catered to client style and need. With that, I draw from numerous therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are. This might include supportive reflection, grief processing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused interventions, and/or implementation of the other approaches previously mentioned. All care is trauma-informed.
