New to Grow
With years of experience in school psychology and Marriage and Family therapy, I am passionate about helping people navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and achieve their goals. I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing supportive, practical guidance tailored to their unique needs. Drawing on my training in ABC therapy and cognitive psychology, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can make positive changes and move forward with confidence. I have experience in youth and young adult sports psychology methods as well as have worked with neurodivergent clients to include Autism and ADHD.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what has brought you to counseling at this point in your life. We will talk about your concerns, the challenges you are experiencing, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This helps us develop a shared understanding of your needs and create meaningful goals for our time together.
I believe that each person has unique strengths, and I work collaboratively with clients to identify those strengths while addressing challenges and barriers to growth. I strive to bring out the positive qualities in each person, helping them build confidence, motivation, and a sense of direction. By creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, I work collaboratively with clients to identify practical solutions, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies for moving forward. My goal is to empower clients to make meaningful changes and achieve personal growth while feeling understood and supported throughout the process.
Clients who are dealing with life stressors and need ways to utilize coping skills and strategies. I have experience working with elementary through high school students on coping strategies and reducing stressors. I have worked with parent and child relationships to help build bridges and open up communication. I have experience working with ADHD and high functioning autism youth as well as worked with couples in need of therapy. I have experience working with athlete's in sports in improving their psychological stamina and performance using positive reinforcement and cognitive behavior therapy.

I utilize cognitive behavior therapy to understand the reasoning behind feelings and emotions through thoughts and belief systems, as well as to include what motivates those thoughts and their outcomes to bring about positive change.
